Loved the unit we stayed in very clean and tidy it had every thing we needed and the manager was very helpfull. It was very close to shops so we were able to walk were ever we needed to go, we actually attended a wedding so every thing was close to us the people there are very friendly too.
- CathyC55Excellent motel, spacious, single level great location and parking outside unit. Good restaurant if required but you can self cater. Units are older style are clean, warm and functional. Good host and a great stay.
- TeakateaStayed for 4 nights for the wairoa show as my daughter was an equestrian competitor. We also stayed here last year. The units are very clean and everything you need as well as an awesome shower, (most important when you dealing with horses all day). Plenty of space although this is not your most modern units, its reflected in price. Also the river walk next door and Mobil service station across the road is an added bonus. Peter was very accomodating and even phoned me to help with a booking error. All this was not a problem for this motelier. Didn't use the pool this year but last year when it was so hot, the girls found it such a bonus after a hard day. It's a decent sized pool too. Thank you Peter we will be back next year. Just too easy!!
